Check it out! The fourth batch of Bimber's Oloroso Cask is here! With an outturn of 975 bottles, this whisky was aged in ex-bourbon casks, before spending a finishing period in a Spanish Oloroso sherry butt. It is always exciting to get a new release from this London based distillery, as ever, top stuff from Bimber!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fruit loaf and raisins, toast and fresh pastry with sweet wafts of apple.
Palate
All the sherry! Deep, dark, rich dried fruit flavours, caramelised nuts and gentle cakey spice.
Finish
Syrup and honey poured over tropical fruit, gentle cinnamon, and allspice.
