Islay's ultimate celebration of whisky (plus music, culture, and all things great and Hebredian) wouldn't be complete without the annual limited-edition whisky from Big Peat, and here we have the Fèis Ìle 2026 release! This is a marriage of single malt whiskies from a host of the island's most renowned distilleries, finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, bringing indulgent sweetness and decadent sherried richness to the bonfire embers and peat smoke at its core. Bottled at cask strength, a satisfying 52.6% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Feisty Islay peat smoke with sweet bonfire embers, rich dried fruits of fig and date, and freshly roasted coffee.
Palate
Sweet, smoky and indulgent, revealing layers of toasted walnut, cocoa and velvety Pedro Ximénez sherry richness.
Finish
Long, warming and velvety, with a decadent dryness carried by enduring peat smoke.
