Benromach Peat Smoke 2006 (bottled 2016)
Distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2016, this peated Benromach (67ppm) was matured in first fill bourbon barrels and was bottled at 46% abv. Sounds pretty good already, right?

Nose
Sweet cigar box, smoked cheese, warm citrus and anise.
Palate
Smoky gooseberries and mixed peels with mocha hints.
Finish
Long and smoky.
