Benromach's Organic was the world's first organic single malt whisky back when they initially released it. As the years (and vintages) go by, it continues to be a popular expression from their collection. This is a 2010 vintages which was bottled in 2018.
Rounded vanilla, pineapple and barley sugar sweets.
Malt is still present, coffee bean and dark chocolate. Citrus peels.
Clean and quite refreshing.

The tasting notes are spot on. Adding a drop of water brings out more of the coffee and dark chocolate, which balances beautifully with the tropical fruit and vanilla, making this a truly gorgeous dram. This is my first Benromach, and one thing that is definitely evident is the high quality of the base spirit - this is a very smooth whisky.
