21 year old Benrinnes, bottled for the Golden Cask range by the House of Macduff. Drawn from a single cask that was laid down in 1995 and cracked open in 2017, this single malt had an outturn of 290 bottles.
Pecan, raisin and a subtle whiff of pine resin.
Chocolatey at first, though soon enough fresh fruit notes win over the palate (think melon and red plum).
Sugary popcorn and malty vanilla.
