Independently bottled Benrinnes here from the Hepburn's Choice range, drawn from a pair of wine hogsheads. The whisky was distilled in 2010, and bottled by Langside in 2020 at nine years of age, with an outturn of 696 bottles from the two aforementioned wine casks.
Nutty barley with a hint of sugared almond, plus ripe red berries.
Chewy dates and toffee, caraway giving it a subtle liquorice note, honeyed malt.
Orange, blueberry muffin, peppercorn.
