This single malt from Benrinnes was distilled in 2014 and matured for eight years in a re-charred sherry butt. The Speyside Scotch whisky was bottled in 2022 for Douglas Laing's Old Particular - The Midnight Series, at cask strength, and without added colour or chill filtration.
Plenty of rich sherry character, with raisins, warm spices, and caramel.
Sticky dates, fruit cake, treacle tart, and candied orange.
Dark brown sugar, with caramelised almonds.
