Benrinnes single malt from Decadent Drams (Decadent Drinks) here. It's a single first-fill sherry hogshead from 1997, bottled at a cask strength of 53% ABV. This is a proper sherry heavyweight, and it does not pretend otherwise. Dense, savoury, deeply umami and gloriously earthy. Just 220 bottles were released.

Nose
Date molasses, fig jam, balsamic glaze, old pipe tobacco and rich Armagnac notes.
Palate
Intense and savoury with soy sauce, game meats, tarry resins, dark fruits and herbal roots.
Finish
Drying and complex with old teas, savoury spice and persistent sherried depth.
