From the Benrinnes Distillery comes an 11 year old single malt Scotch whisky which has been bottled by Duncan Taylor for The Octave range. Back in 2010, the whisky was distilled and set aside to age, before being moved over to an octave cask to finish for nine months, then eventually it was bottled up at 53.1% ABV. Just 76 bottles were produced.
Peanut butter on toast, orange peel, cinnamon cookies.
Quite nutty, with almonds and pecans, joined by popcorn and a smidge of blackberry.
Oily barley lingers.
