Independent bottler The Red Cask Co. selected a brilliantly sherried single cask from the Benrinnes distillery here. After being distilled in 2010, this single malt spent the next 11 years maturing in a first fill sherry cask, until it was cracked open in 2021, releasing a total of 293 bottles.
Sweet berry jam, robust with roasted coffee beans and nutty barley.
Caramel nuts, chocolate raisins, a whiff of leather, sprinkles of cinnamon, with more jammy fruit and sweet spice.
Lingering and rich, dried fruits, earthen oak, manuka honey with dark fruit cake spice.
