This marvellous single malt from Ben Nevis was distilled in 1997 and matured for 24 years in a pair of hogshead casks. After this lengthy slumber, the whisky was independently bottled by the fine folk at Thompson Bros. with a total outturn of 357 bottles.
Fragrant with floral citrus blossom and sandalwood.
Vibrant citrus, with dried orange and zesty lemon peel. Butterscotch and plenty of vanilla, followed by a nutty, oaky spice.
Black pepper, ginger biscuits, lemon drops, and floral, spicy oak.
