All the way back in 1792, Kentucky officially became a state. Many moons later, 1792 Small Batch bourbon was named after that very same year. As it happens, it's a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. Coincidence? We think not. This expression features mashbill with a generous helping of rye, resulting in a flavour profile packed with herbal spice alongside the classic caramelised sugar, buttered corn and toasted oak notes you find in top-notch bourbons. Great for sipping over a couple ice cubes on a sunny evening.
Buttery warmth up front, followed by black pepper and Sesame Snaps. Soft smoky hints of charred oak and cinnamon.
Runny caramel, clove, cardamom, corn grilled on a BBQ, peanut brittle and spicy rye.
A little hint of cinnamon and citrus on the finish.

This has all the characteristics you want in a bourbon. A little bite, smooth finish. Not too complex. Won't burn you.
Totally agree with letting 1792 get some air. First glass is always a bit rough. I've gotten to the point where I open the day of purchase. Great stuff for the $22 I am spending.
Has a harshness that a quality bourbon doesn’t produce. There’s cheaper bourbons that provide a much superior taste and flavor. It’s in my option a very disappointing bourbon. I’ve read a lot about rye flavor with this bourbon, but in my option the roughness isn’t from quality rye. I love a good rye, this isn’t picking up flavor from that. I honestly would take the simplistic VOB over this harsh small batch. It just simple is disappointing in my opinion
Got it on sale for 25.99 from 29.99. I seen it at total wine for 31. Taste like corn whiskey. Not really impressed, but I am coming from very peat Islay single/blended scotch. Taste like jack Daniel’s but with a bite. You can taste the sweet Carmel. I can see it get better as I drink more. In scotch terms, it taste very immature, not mellow at all. The initial taste wasn’t below expectations because I read good things, but as I continue to drink, it gets better
Not what I was hoping for. Have indulged my bourbon bug for a while; Makers Mark, Basil Hayden, Clyde Mays, Four Roses SB and single barrel, Lazy river, Buffalo Trace, etc. This is by far my least favorite. Very tame, almost bland. Nose almost non existent. Maybe it's just me or a bad bottle, but very disappointing.
