Ah, marrying tun 1401. This is where David Stewart weaves some of his finest magic, selecting only the very best casks The Balvenie has to offer to produce some of their rarest and finest expressions.
9 American Oak casks and 3 European Oak Sherry casks were used to create Batch 8, a limited release of 2,700 bottles that are guaranteed to fly off of the shelves.
Batch 8 is destined for the UK, Canada and Australia, with only one in three batches reaching these destinations. (Others go to the US or travel retail.)

Brilliant Batch not as good as number 5 but one of the best. For this price is really a gift
I was amazed by the complexity of this whiskey. Usually i drink regular 10-12 year olds from a variety of locations but this was a whole different level for me. Enjoy!
