A 14 year old single malt from the Balvenie distillery, made using a batch of heavily roasted malt produced back in 1992. To give you an idea of how roasted the barley was, normally malted barley reaches around 30 European Brewing Colour units. The barley used for this release reached between 1600 to 1800 European Brewing Colour.

Pity this one is discontinued, was a top notch Balvenie product. Got two for my 50th nine years ago. They didn't last long!
