Bourbon
An eight year old single malt Scotch whisky from the Balmencah Distillery, bottled up for the independent Infrequent Flyers series by Alistair Walker. Distilled in May 2013, the whisky was filled into a bourbon barrel and left to mature until December 2021, when an outturn of 252 bottles was released.
Nutty meringue with dustings of vanilla cream and soft peach.
More sweet stone fruits, apricots, and almonds, with cinnamon pastries and runny honey in tow.
Zesty with more roasted nuts, butterscotch, and gentle oak char.
