A bottle of 10-year-old Balmenach single cask single malt here. Distilled in December 2011, it matured in a hogshead, with a finishing period in a re-charred cask. This Speysider was bottled in October 2022 by Hannah Whisky Merchants for its Lady of the Glen series, with an outturn of only 318 bottles, non-chill filtered and without added colour.
Dark caramel, with a touch of toasted almonds, coffee, and earthy vanilla.
Crumbly fudge, with peppery spice, creamy malt, and oaky spice.
Sticky caramel and barley sugar, with toasted oak.
