Douglas Laing's Provenance range grows once more - this time they've added a 10 year old Balmenach single malt which has been aged in a single refill hogshead cask. It was distilled in March 2007 and bottled in March 2017 with an outturn of 408 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Soft caramel and barley, with a fruity touch of honeydew melon.
Palate
Brown sugar, more fresh fruit, crumbly digestive biscuits and a pinch of peppercorn.
Finish
Vanilla, orange sweeties and some earthy malt notes.
