Sherry
13 year old Aultmore single malt Scotch whisky, which has been independently bottled by the wonderful Duncan Taylor. This expression was distilled back in September 2008 and bottled up December 2021. Drawn from a single sherry cask, 371 bottles were produced.
Maple syrup drenched pancakes, roasted almonds, a little hint of coffee.
Malty on the palate, though layers of dried fruit sweeten things up. A mineral hint of flint hides underneath.
Rye toast and Nutella.
