An indie bottling of single malt from the Aultmore Distillery, drawn from a single hogshead cask that was laid down back in September 2008. 11 years later, in February 2020, it was bottled up by Signatory at 43% ABV.
Soft vanilla and peach, with some waxy orange peel working its way in there.
Dusty oak, honeydew melon, cookie dough and kitchen herbs.
Thyme and basil again, but now supported by grassy malt and melted butter.

Mmm delicious aultmore provided by the amazing signatory. These guys never get it wrong. If it wasn't for the abv I'd say these offerings are the dregs of the flora and fauna series. Fruity and herbaceous, soft gentle and completely engaging. Wish there was more.
