A Pineau des Charentes cask finished single malt from Aultmore here, independently bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for its Cooper's Choice range. Distilled back in 2010, this spent its time maturing in American oak before finishing and bottling with an outturn of only 192 bottles overall.
Milk chocolate peanuts and raisins with earthen musty oak.
Robust malt with dark fruits, liquorice, cinnamon, and a touch of herbal mint.
Sweet marzipan, herbs, and baking spices, with damp, peppery oak on the finish.
