Ah, an Auchroisk! This Speyside single malt was distilled back in the heady days of April 1992 and then matured in a bourbon hogshead. 23 years later, in August 2014, the cask was cracked open and the whisky bottled. 262 bottles were produced, with a rather sturdy ABV of 56.5%.

Had this at a friend's house, and was very struck by smoothness, lack of rough bite due to higher alcohol content, and excellent peppery flavor - one of my favorites. Please get some more in stock!
