A Montgomerie's bottling of 21 year old single malt from Auchroisk! This was distilled in November 1995 and set aside to age in a bourbon cask until September 2017, when it was bottled with an ABV of 46% as part of the Rare Select range.
Juicy pear and plum, with underlying notes of baking bread.
Sharp green apple tempered by black tea and allspice. A touch of new oak.
Hibiscus, more tea leaves and some fresh Alpine herbs.
