12 year old single malt from the Auchroisk Distillery up in the Highlands, independently bottled by the always fantastic Signatory. This one was distilled in October 2008 and left to age in a pair of hogshead for a dozen years, before finally being bottled in November 2020.
Golden syrup, peanut shells, rounded barley richness.
Hot cross buns with loads of butter, candied peels, ginger root.
Thyme honey and a subtle flinty note linger.
