Sherry
A 10 year old Auchroisk, independently bottled by James Eadie. The single malt was aged from 2008 to 2019, finished in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butt before being bottled at cask strength, 59.4% ABV. A release of 589 bottles.
Buttered toast with honey, vanilla cream and orange zest.
Walnut, more honey and some caramel, malt loaf and juicy berries.
Rather green, notes of thyme with a hint of spice.
