Auchentoshan's Springwood expression, which spends its maturation resting in American oak bourbon casks, was released for travel retail. Rich in vanilla and orange, this is a flavoursome Lowland single malt, from a top distillery that triple distils its whisky.
Light and fragrant with classic bourbon-cask vanilla and honey, with hints of orange oil shining through.
Chocolatey on the palate, with continued vanilla fudge and citrus peels.
A rather refreshing palate of lemon and orange.

Really enjoyable dram, light fresh citrus nose and juicy citrus / sweet vanilla notes. Recommended summer Whisky
Fresh, light, and the green apple is there. A good lowland whisky
Highly recommend this if you enjoy smooth, mild whiskey as opposed to the flavor of smoldering logs. Very accessible and a great thing to serve at parties to people unaccustomed to scotch. Consider it a gateway libation.
Add coke to this beauty will almost make it drinkable. Got it as a gift, feel sorry for the person that purchased it.....
I don't consider myself an expert ,but having drunk malt Whisky for over fifty years this one does nothing for me , bought it in airport on menorca for Christmas and found it like mouthwash . Back to Glenlivet for me .
