A seven-year-old Highland single malt here from Ardmore, which spent its days maturing in a cask which previously held smoky Scotch whisky from Islay! Very unique stuff. It was bottled by Càrn Mòr for the Strictly Limited series, with a release of 1,065 bottles.
Smouldering bonfire smoke, salty cured meats, balanced by fresh mint and a dash of chocolate.
More of that smoke, smoked fish, and black pepper, with hints of those classic Highland florals.
Peat smoke initially, with lemon blossom and vanilla lingering.
