Seven year old single malt from the Ardmore Distillery, independently bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for the Cooper's Choice range. This one initially aged in American oak, before being moved over to an Amarone red wine cask for a finishing period, helping to impart a bundle of brill berry notes. 276 bottles were produced.
Enjoyably smoky with charred oak and baked earth, punctuated by hints of raspberry jam.
Brown sugar and Jammie Dodgers, juxtaposed by roasted peat spiciness.
Cinnamon, ginger, blackcurrant and apple juice.
