A marvellous single malt from Ardmore, released by indie bottler The Sipping Shed! This expression was treated to 12 years of maturation in a single cask, including a finishing period in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, imparting oodles of sweet, nutty character to this delightful dram.
Roasted barley and juicy dates with warming wafts of ginger and toasted nuts.
Spiced oak, nutty notes of maple syrup with a touch of orange peel to balance gently peppery spice.
More roasted, caramelised nuts, smoked wood, and floral manuka honey, with hints of warming baking spice.
