Ardlair is the unpeated whisky coming out the doors of Ardmore distillery, which normally produces heavily peated whiskies. This Highland single malt was distilled in 2011 and matured for 11 years in an oloroso sherry butt. It was bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2011 for its Cask Strength Collection, with a release of only 597 bottles.
Warm pastries, with creamy grain character, some green grape, and hazelnut.
Fruity oloroso sherry notes, crisp apple, caramelised nuts, and warm spice.
Nutty praline.
