The eight Boutique-y batch from this Speyside-based distillery was aged for 6 years and has been bottled at 49.9% ABV. No one knows why the fellow in Aberlour's Mash Tun hotel looks so scared, and we fear that we may never find out. So mysterious...

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Apple slices and vanilla rich barley sugar. A touch of earthy lime leaf.
Black pepper arrives first, shortly followed by more vanilla and oily walnut notes.
Apricot jam, cinnamon and a good whack of orange.
Virtually no colour, quite harsh, I’m not a fan.
