An independently bottled Aberlour single malt, matured in a single barrel for 7 years. It was distilled in summer 2008 and bottled in summer 2015 for the Provenance range by Douglas Laing. Known for their well-Sherried malts, this bottling offers a glimpse at another side of Aberlour's whisky...

Assertive first taste. Finishes with lingering notes of tobacco and leather. It's not a bad whiskey, but I would pick a different one next time.
