An Xtra Old Particular bottling of Aberlour singe malt, matured in a refill hogshead for 25 years, from June 1994 to August 2019. After quarter of a century of patient ageing, the whisky was independently bottled by Douglas Laing with an outturn of only 262 bottles.

    Tasting Note by The Producer

    Nose

Anticipate fleshy peaches and exotic spices on the nose developing to cookie dough and strawberry conserve.

    Palate

The palate is thick and delicious with fruit compote, chocolate and rich, creamy barley.

    Finish

The finish goes on and on... So sweet with waxy orange, brown sugar and lots of dried fruit.
