Not for me. Spicey notes too harsh on my tongue when 1st sipped & overpower the sherry which is why I tried it.
Just as I remembered it, gentle at 40% but full of languorous character Splendid dram for any season.
Well balanced bourbon and Sherry flavours. Delicious. Lovely bottle too. One of my favourites.
Aroma was pleasant and easy, but I found the flavors to be smashed together. Also this felt strong on the tongue than some other whisky’s on the similar price point. Give it a shot but it’s not for me.
