Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, this is an older bottling of 10-year-old single malt from Aberlour. A perennial favourite, typical of the modern Speyside style and thoroughly approachable. Such is its popularity that this bottling has been exported to over fifty countries.

Sweet and full. Sherried raisins, hints of toffee and a pleasant nuttiness.
Quite full-bodied, spicy rich fruitcake, toffee notes and a creamy malty-feel and the vaguest whisper of something akin to synthetic banana.
Caramel and honey, the malt still evident and the sweet spices still linger.
Lovely and rich.
love the 10 didn't rate the 12.
It has to have been the best dram for the money that Aberlour have produced. Better than the 12 and most of the other offerings
Given the price group this one sits in I dont think you can go wrong by trying it. Its also a good one to learn nosing on as those raisins come in bucket loads!
It is the best whiskey on the planet. Felt like I was on Mars. I enjoyed it so much that I fell asleep.
Sweet and spicy on the nose. Hints of Cinnamon and cloves. Also apple juice. After a few drops of water - a strong scent of banana candy. Palate has autumn feelings, spices, apples, tree bark, raisins, nuts. A beautiful whisky!
