Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, this is an older bottling of 10-year-old single malt from Aberlour. A perennial favourite, typical of the modern Speyside style and thoroughly approachable. Such is its popularity that this bottling has been exported to over fifty countries.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Sweet and full. Sherried raisins, hints of toffee and a pleasant nuttiness.
Quite full-bodied, spicy rich fruitcake, toffee notes and a creamy malty-feel and the vaguest whisper of something akin to synthetic banana.
Caramel and honey, the malt still evident and the sweet spices still linger.
Lovely and rich.

It's a 10 year old, not 15+, so it's not going to be the smoothest, most refined. It is good value for a 10 year old though. Sweetish nose, with toffee; Drinking is surprisingly full bodied, with spicy fruitcake. Finish is slightly sweeter but dries off nicely. Worth having a bottle to change things up!
Quite good this one, probably better than 12 yr old Double Cask.Pity its only 40% though.Added this to Casg Annahm and hugely drinkable result.Would love to visit the distillery.
beautiful single malt all these spoilt toffs throwing it down the river send it to me
This is plain HARSH ALCOHOL the moment you open the bottle u can smell the alcohol in the entire room, I had high expectations but its not worth it. Disappointed....
Excellent for the beginner to the world of single malts
