Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, this is an older bottling of 10-year-old single malt from Aberlour. A perennial favourite, typical of the modern Speyside style and thoroughly approachable. Such is its popularity that this bottling has been exported to over fifty countries.

Sweet and full. Sherried raisins, hints of toffee and a pleasant nuttiness.
Quite full-bodied, spicy rich fruitcake, toffee notes and a creamy malty-feel and the vaguest whisper of something akin to synthetic banana.
Caramel and honey, the malt still evident and the sweet spices still linger.
Lovely and rich.
The right amount of sweet and smooth for the money, I was pleasantly surprised. Will buy again!
ABSOLUTELY LOVEY SIPPING WHISKEY .CANNOT FAULT IT
Lovely sweet and full flavoured on the nose. Very fruity rich and creamy. What a lovely dram and for around £30 it knocks spots of many a bottke double the price. Real easy drinking.
Interesting mix of reviews! I rather like the Aberlour 10yo. I get a little toffee-apple, in the palate, in addition to the fruit-cakeyness - pretty sure that's a word. Finish is mildly spicy, with plenty of toffee and a little vanilla. Ian
It feels like a bit watery and lacking in consistency. No aftertaste and this is a bit sad but expected given the price.
