Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, this is an older bottling of 10-year-old single malt from Aberlour. A perennial favourite, typical of the modern Speyside style and thoroughly approachable. Such is its popularity that this bottling has been exported to over fifty countries.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Sweet and full. Sherried raisins, hints of toffee and a pleasant nuttiness.
Quite full-bodied, spicy rich fruitcake, toffee notes and a creamy malty-feel and the vaguest whisper of something akin to synthetic banana.
Caramel and honey, the malt still evident and the sweet spices still linger.
Lovely and rich.

Good malt at a good price. Cheap, tasty dram. I prefer this over a glenfiddich of glenlivet for example. Was my first bottle of 'good' whisky, and i still enjoy this quite much.

Great value. For the price you will probably struggle to find a better Speyside £20-£25. I always seem to have a bottle in the back of my cupboard. It isn't my first choice but when I drink it as I am now!! I'm reminded of just how good it is.
Vanilla taste, smooth and pleasantly silky. Good stuff !! Muchas gracias, amigos de Scotland !! How much do you sell it in Scotland ?? Does it come in liters ??
I have had a bottle of Aberlour for a few months now as an unopened present. Kept meaning to open it. Last night in desperate measures i used it as a mouth rinse for acute toothache. Worked brilliantly. Nice aftertaste. If i can find a dentist quick enough there should be enough left to savour the way it should be.
