Finished in red wine casks from Bolgheri in Tuscany, this single malt Scotch whisky from Aberfeldy was matured for 18 years. The red wine cask finish has lent plenty of rich, red fruit, and spicy oak character to this Highlander, which is part of the Aberfeldy Red Wine Cask Collection.
Layers of cherry, with syrupy morellos, and juicy fresh cherries, along with oaky vanilla, and toasted marzipan.
Cocoa nibs, soft vanilla, peppery oak spice, and juicy blackberries, with hints of toasted coconut.
