The Aberfeldy distillery is nestled in the foothills of the central Highlands, and has been in operation since it was founded in 1898. Matured for a generous 21 years, this single malt boasts classic Highland character with layers of heather honey, nutty malt, and zesty fruit, joined by a rich depth of dried fruits and delicate smoke.
Runny honey, dried fruits, and biscuity malt enlivened by a fresh, zesty quality, and notes of waxed citrus.
Silky vanilla and creamy oak lead to refined smoke, with notes of marzipan, candied orange, and floral fruit.
Ripe white peach, sultanas, and a good wave of honey, a smidge of wood smoke, backed up by caramelised almonds and a touch of toasted coconut.

Indescribably smooth with more than enough subtlety for me. Agreed that 40% abv could be higher -- but don't let that stop you.
This Scotch it's driving me crazy WOW how good is it!! It's beautiful
I enjoy all 3 - 12, 18 & 21. This is my all time favorite.
May be difficult to appréhend due to its complexity. Suffer from its low alcohol I believe it would be muche better at 46% abv.
This Scotch in my view reaches the optimal blend of complexity in smoke, peat and vanilla. It is well balanced and just a pleasure on the pallet and the nose.
