Wine Cask
A glorious French single malt from A. Roborel De Climens, produced from French barley and showcasing the magnificence of wine cask finishing! After initial maturation in a combination of first and second fill French oak barrels, the whisky was transferred to ex-dry white wine barrels for finishing. Specifically, these wine barrels previously held Rolle blanc wine from Château Sainte-Marguerite in Côtes de Provence.
Elegant fruit welcomes the way, white plums, and grapes, a touch of prune and light, floral tobacco.
Stone fruits build with peaches and apricot crossing paths with roasted almonds, and toasted oak. Gently spicy malt gives delicate balance to the sweeter notes.
Lingering woody spice, floral vanilla, and silky fruits.
