Following the success of their Irish Potato Craft Gin, The Muff Liquor Co. are back with Potato Vodka, named after the town of Muff on the Inishowen peninsula in County Donegal. Made with Irish potatoes and distilled six times to achieve the desired flavour profile and mouth feel, this stuff will make a great base for a huge variety of cocktails.
Subtle vanilla on the nose, with a delicately balanced creamy and earthy taste.
Almost no-one makes vodka from potatoes, but after tasting this I have no idea why. Botanical on the nose, with a sweet aftertaste. A fantastic vodka.
I bought this for a friend. They loved it and bought me a bottle too. This is great in a V. and T. with lemon or cucumber for a refreshing summer drink. Better still, it's a super smooth spirit to sip neat and at room temperature. It's absolutely delicious, unlike cheaper vodkas I could mention.
My girlfriend always looks forward to her muff liquor at the end of a long day. She loves it, but personally it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
