A taste of Borganes, a town in the West of Iceland, not unlike the 'terroir' of French wines. Icelandic water is so pure, maybe this is what makes Reyka vodka so smooth. Purchased for a weekend with my Icelandic family, this vodka is irresistible. Drink neat so as not to spoil it.

This vodka is so smooth and refreshing. I I simply put it in the freezer and have it neat. I usually prefer vodka with mixers or in a cocktail and drink whiskey straight but this is just so wonderful straight, it feels a shame to mix it.
I typically only drink vodka in a martini, but this tasted unpleasantly earthy and (given that vodka is generally a very neutral spirit) had me questioning whether the makers of my favourite vermouth had messed around with their recipe (fortunately they hadn't, as I discovered when I used Ciroc vodka instead).
And I’ve tried vodkas from all over the world. Grain based, potato based, rye… even milk based. To me this is the smoothest, cleanest, and most moreish vodka I’ve ever tasted. Perfect in a ‘dirty’ martini
