What makes Grey Goose so special? Firstly, the wheat used to make the vodka is grown in the Picardy region of France where it is also bottled "field to bottle". This area is known for its limestone soil, which gives the wheat a unique flavour. Secondly, the water used to dilute the vodka comes from Gensac Spring, which is located in the Cognac region. The spring water is naturally filtered through limestone, giving it a clean taste.

Totally over rated..probably one of the worst vodkas I ever tasted..
Been enjoying a bottle of Titos Vodka but alas it ran out so I opened a new bottle of Grey Goose effectively trying them as a direct comparison. Was drinking them neat just with ice and a slice of lemon. The Titos I really enjoy and can easily drink neat but the Grey Goose in comparison is quite nasty, even the smell of it was off putting. I almost couldn’t finish the glass. I’ve had it before in cocktails or with cola and it’s fine so it won’t go to waste but won’t be buying another bottle.
Not too picky about vodka but I avoid this one. Can’t quite put my finger on it. A sort of soapiness ? Like a very faint trace of Fairy Liquid in the glass ?? Not sure. But I don’t like it.

Wonderful vodka. Instead of other 'harsh' options, the smooth taste of Grey Goose really stands out, and pleasantly surprised to see it's not from endlessly filtering or distilling the taste out of it, but rather letting the quality (French) ingredients shine. Definitely a lovely treat whenever you're in the mood.
