Durham Vodka is triple distilled using the last few litres from their gin production process. This is then passed through their custom built filtration column, which is based on Lincoln County Column used for bourbon. The result is a very smooth, neutral gin with hints of sweet vanilla.
The distillery, incidentally, is said to be the first and only to operate in County Durham since the reign of Henry VIII, giving new meaning to "Vel Primus Vel Cum Primis". (One for the Hatfield College students there.)

So smooth and slightly sweet! One of the nicest vodkas in this price range I've ever tasted
