VIVIR Tequila Reposado is made with 100% blue weber agave, and allowed to mature in bourbon oak casks for at least 6 months before making its way into the handsome bottles. Suitable for enjoying neat, but also works particularly well in all manner of Tequila-based cocktails...

Chewy caramel and melted butter, with agave earthiness as its backbone.
I'm a big fan of Vivir blanco, for me by far the best white tequila at that price point and one of the very best end of. So I had very high expectations and I'm slightly disappointed. The perfume of the bourbon cask is, for me, too present, it lacks subtility. I would suggest to have wash the cask for a few weeks (more?) in alcohol first. The Anejo by contrast doesn't have / far less that "in your face" bourbon perfume.
Astonishingly good. My guess is that relatively new kid on the block won’t stay at this price for long. If you love Casamigo you’ll love this and it’s around £20 cheaper.
Been a Tapatio and Ocho drinker for years and gave this a go from the reviews. I have to say, it’s not my usual style but it’s very good. The vanilla notes come through for sure but the agave remains true making it very easy drinking. I sip it neat but can easily see it working well in the classic cocktails. Thumbs up.
I had high hopes for this tequila after all the hype, and I've sat with it for a few days now; unfortunately, I'm not sure it's for me. The caramel and vanilla flavours are very pronounced, with not really a hint of the dusky, arid romance you want with tequila - perhaps more agave flavour needed. It's not unpleasant but it tastes like a caramel and vanilla liqueur more than a tequila. Very smooth though.
Fabulous drop. Bought on a whim but would highly recommend to anyone. Lots of dimensions to this sipping tequila
