This tremendous reposado Tequila from Tiempo is made from 100% blue weber agave grown in Los Altos and the Tequila Valley in Mexico. Produced with natural yeast and volcanic spring water, the Tequila is twice distilled before ageing for up to eight months. Whilst making this extremely vibrant and tasty tipple, the folks at Tiempo take great care to ensure sustainability, with bottles made from recycled glass, recycled paper pulp labels, and the use of natural cork and wooden stoppers to cut down on plastic. This expression should be ideal for sipping, or mixing up some delightful Tequila and Tonics.
Pouring caramel and silky butterscotch pave the way for fresh, juicy agave with a smooth, vegetal sweetness.

A very smooth and complex Tequila. A new expression on the market that I wanted check out, the fairly new cristalino sub category sets it apart from other reposados due to the fact it's been filtered after ageing. On the nose there's a lot of agave, on the pallet at first sweet and salty then vegetal.. quite oaky which is interesting given it's clear appearance. Retains a lot of that complex profile that I like in Repo's and Anejo's considering it's filtering process, I chose to sip given it's production process which is detailed on the label. Overall a really nice artisanal Tequila that comes in a beautiful bottle. Bit on the higher end price wise but still competes with some of my favourite rums and whiskies!
