El Mayor Añejo Tequila
The Añejo tequila from El Mayor's range spends at least 18 months ageing in small, charred white oak barrels before being bottled (in their pleasing, distinctly shaped bottles, of course). This is crafted by Master Distiller Rodolfo Gonzalez in the Mexican highlands using 100% agave.

Nose
Rich, fruity agave, chewy caramels and plenty of oak warmth to the nose.
Palate
Rather herbal (a characteristic of the range), with generous notes of chocolate and toffee. A little smoky.
Finish
Tropical fruit and continued herbaceous.
