A wonderful Añejo tequila from bestselling Mexican brand El Jimador, produced at Casa Herradura in the valley of Jalisco. It’s made from 100% Blue Weber agave, and is then aged for a year in toasted white American oak barrels. Expect well rounded sweet vanilla and toffee flavours with a hearty helping of spice. My go to Tequila in general as it’s price belies it’s smoothness and complexity. Drink it straight, or with a slice of lime for an interesting experience or even with tonic water for a refreshing drink. Great stuff.
