The Top Cuvée from Veteran Producer Don Julio, named in honour of founder Don Julio Gonzalez-Frausto Estrada, who first distilled Tequila when he was just 17 years old in 1942. This tasty Mexican spirit is treated to 30 months in American white oak before it's bottled.
A hint of green banana, vanilla pod and cinnamon, alongside toasty oak and distinctive roasted agave notes.

“I have never enjoyed Tequila straight, only in mixed drinks. This has changed everything!! My co worker who is a baller (makes tons of money, hate him) bought some and was kind enough to share. I was just curious due to the price tag but one sip out of a snifter, McClairn glass and I am hooked. Not only do I like it, I love it! Everyone in my office who tried it was impressed. Has a mild sweetness and awesome floral smell that should be enjoyed out of proper glassware. This has truly opened my options to a whole new world of premium Tequila. Who would have ever thought!?”

Very smooth, but for the price there are better options, Casa Nobly is just as good and half the price.
Great tequila. Has strong vanilla/slight caramel smell like with the clase azul reposado. Taste has notes of chocolate, oak, and agave. Very smooth. Would love to try the Don Julio Real
I know about premium tequila in Mexico, I live in Jalisco and have visited Tequila many times. This is one of the best bottles you can get. Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia also is one of the preferred premium tequilas here.
Don Julio 1942...slow...deep....longlasting snuggle...in your throat!!!
Best that I have had so far.
