An 18 month aged tequila from Don Julio. This is aged in American white oak barrels and the result is a citrussy, fruity tequila.
+25% in price since I bought it last year! Quite peppery with notes of boiled vegetables.
Very sippable, moreish tequila, great with an ice cube or two. Definitely citrussy, with bitter notes like citrus pith (in a good way), and not at all harsh. Lovely mouthfeel too.
If you look for rather main stream good quality Tequila this is amongst the best. Its not ferrari or Lamborghini but its a posh Mercedes S class
